Ryan earns top honors this week with his outstanding performance at the Dover Tornado Relays (which was appropriately named with the tornado like weather the atheletes had to suffer through). Beabout didn't let 100 mph winds ruin his day as he ran 4:20 for the 1600m and 1:59 for the 800m to complete one of the best single day doubles in the state so far this year. Ryan is doing his best to stay one step ahead of the in-state competition as every time runners like Bias, Cole, and Levi start to close in on his times, he takes another step up with his racing. Along with those season best times, he's also nailed a couple of great 3200m (including a great showdown with Levi) already this year. After his solo effort of 9:18 it looks like the state record could be in trouble this year. Beabout's been the gold standard in excellence for the past few years in the state of WV, and he's set the bar high for all the runners around him. His results from the past couple of years shows what hard work and a dedicated attitude can do. We wish him the best of luck in the upcoming few weeks as things start to heat up on the track.

Doddridge Meet!
- Time for some Hype! We got a Big race on our hands, so early in the season. I'd like to showcase the men's mile. The race is tomorrow evening.... Who will win???
In this Corner....We have one of the toughest runners in the state. (If not thee toughest) He doesn't get a chance to run against big time AAA runners at states, so will he take his anger out on them in this race?

In this corner, we have the new and up and coming distance star in the state. He broke on the season in X-C Season and has been working as hard as anyone during indoors. He's lightning quick and may be looking to prove big things in his final year of high school running.
In the final corner, is a runner from North Marion who busted on the scene last track season by running a 4:31 for the mile and 9:50 for 2 miles. This after the previous year of something crazy like 5:20 for a mile and just slow for the 2 mile. He then made his claim as one of the Top Dogs as he claimed 2nd place at the X-C State meet. What kind of year can we expect from this kid?
